(PHOTOS AND DESCRIPTION FROM FLANNEL DAYS 2005)

There was a fundraiser for the Lexington Fire Department.  If you weren’t wearing flannel, you were placed in a make shift jail for a few minutes by the Keystone Cops (fire dept).  Then you were brought before the honorable judge who would state your bail.  McCallum’s Orchard provided cider and donuts.  There were craft tables to visit and local business’s advertised their services.  Games for the children were provided including pie eating contests, bobbing for apples, face painting, digging for an eyeball in the brains, and many more at no cost.  The Lexington Business Association provided free prizes to all the kids.  On Sunday, there was a Halloween parade.  The children received goodies donated by the General Store.  The Cadillac House donated whip cream for the pies and many other items.  Sax Appeal entertained us.  A pet  parade was held in 2006 by Bentleys Barkery.  The pets and their owners were all dressed up for the occasion.  We all had a great time!.
